This piece is called thoroughbred. It was completed in early 2014. The source image for this piece was a photograph of my thoroughbred, Hue. The photo was taken by me in 2013 during an exercise session with him in the round pen. I chose the colors to represent the feel of the wind in his mane and the power in each beat of his hooves.
